Characteristics of Habitat
The snow leopard lives in cold areas where their are many mountains and trees. They prefer an overall rocky area because it provides good cover and clear ways to see pray. During the summer months, the leopards will stay near meadows above the tree line. In the winter, they usually don't mind traveling in thick snow, but like trails when they are available.
